The teaser of Boss, which was released recently, quickly drew attention online as many viewers pointed out similarities between the film’s storyline and Darshan’s life. Following this, Vijayalakshmi Darshan has taken legal action against the filmmakers.

Alleged Similarities in Characters

According to reports, the teaser includes characters named Shivswamy and Sheela Gowda, along with another character named Lakshmi. These names and certain scenes in the teaser reportedly resemble people and events linked to Darshan’s personal life, which has sparked controversy.

Vijayalakshmi Darshan has strongly objected to the portrayal, claiming that the film appears to be based on the life of a celebrity and could damage reputations if released in its current form.

Legal Notice Demanding Teaser Removal

The legal notice reportedly demands that the teaser of Boss be removed from online platforms immediately. It also calls for the filmmakers to stop using characters or storylines that resemble real-life individuals connected to the actor.

Sources indicate that the notice has also been sent to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), urging the authority to review the matter before granting certification to the film.

Director Also Receives Notice

In addition to the production team, the film’s director Love has reportedly received a legal notice from Darshan’s side. The notice warns the filmmakers against portraying or suggesting real-life personalities without consent.

Controversy Gains Attention

The teaser had already generated significant buzz online due to its intense tone and storyline. However, the latest legal action has further amplified public interest in the film.

As of now, the makers of Boss have not issued an official response to the notice. It remains unclear whether the teaser will be taken down or if the filmmakers will make changes to the film.

The controversy has once again highlighted the sensitivity around films that appear to mirror real-life events involving well-known personalities.
