As expected, the much hyped trailer for Drishyam 3 will premiere soon and bring us yet another psychological thriller to watch from the depths of the psyche; Mohanlal will become the definitive Georgekutty.
An incredibly suspenseful trailer that people are getting excited for as well, some fans who think Georgekutty’s laid out, thoughtfully curated tangle of lies is only beginning to tip it all over. In the trailer, Georgekutty and his family descend into the terror of a familial ruckus and are brought under suspicion.
But there is a new feel to this series, much different from the earlier ones, public gaze, demands from the media, etc. Among many aggressive television debates, reporters chasing down updates, and public anger coming all over the case of the mysterious disappearance, this trailer plays.
By now, many are saying Georgekutty could be leading his own full-blown media trial, so his battle for survival may be more deadly than at any point in his life. Mohanlal’s performance proves both calm and complex in the trailer itself. His expressions show Georgekutty, in the greatest strain he’s possible at play, but never allowing himself to spare his family.

Where in the first two pictures there were mainly police probes and legal loopholes, Drishyam 3 takes the intensity even further and adds the way opinion and the media affect everything in the story. The film's background music accompaniment, images that are full of suspense, combined with tense scenes in high emotional register and loaded spoken conversations (which will be played out in time), all help ratchet up the anticipation over an audience of more and more listeners.
