Love Mocktail 3 is quite large and strong Kannada romantic drama and still winning at box office despite the strong threat from a big budget Hindi spy thriller Dhurandhar 2. This is Darling Krishna's first movie in adult cinema and directed by me.
When Toxic was delayed, producers of Love Mocktail 3 had to reschedule a date when they couldn't release it in April. Take advantage of the opening and hit cinemas on 19th and has got the positive word of mouth.
That is another component of this very moving and emotional story that isn’t so much about movies that appeared before. It’s accepted that the movie has genuine story with characters with us and viewers and that in relation to that to them the rest (family) view it would be fine.
Salmanovic said the film was in the top line with Rs 1.2 crore on Day 1 while Rs 1 crore came in Day 2. In terms of collections, this weekend on Saturday and Rs 1.76 crore on Sunday, the Indian net collection has reached around Rs 5.36 crore. And worldwide in terms of earnings, the movie made Rs 6.23 crore.
Importantly, Trade analysts say that for a budget of a movie of very little they’re very encouraging. It’s getting even better in the company than Dhurandhar 2. So you really feel good that this movie has already been profitable.
Love Mocktail 3 has shown the continued interest of content-led cinema. And bigger budget drama dominates on screen but small films with an emotional impact will surely draw you in.
Love Mocktail 3 looks to be moving forward in the next couple of weeks; audience response and overall trajectory and momentum should be such a clear shot in this direction: good storytelling doesn’t fail not in the face of so much competition.
