The presence of technology companies was especially notable because many of these companies work in sectors that have become more and more relevant in US-China relations. Nvidia and AMD are major players in the global semiconductor industry, while OpenAI, Google, Meta and other companies are at the forefront of the rapidly developing artificial intelligence sector.
