A disturbing incident of a nursery student being physically assaulted in a private school in the Adilabad district has come to light after CCTV images have been obtained during which a female teacher was allegedly physically attacking a child in the school premises.
The incident came to light after the child returned home with “visible injury marks on his body,” the child’s parents said.
They were worried about the injuries and investigated the situation with the help of school CCTV recordings.
According to the video, the teacher is seen “twisting the child’s ear, hitting him with a stick and repeatedly hitting him on the cheeks and back.”
The disturbing images have raised questions about the safety of children in schools.
The child is a nursery student so this incident has particularly worried parents because children of this age need care, patience and protection from adults responsible for them.
Schools and teachers generally take care of children and they can learn and spend time with them.
