Shah also sent a message on social media that ABVP workers across the country were congratulated on the achievement of ABVP staff across the country, and thanked them for their dedication to service to society through educational, cultural and social work and social activities. Shah said they have been active in all sectors of society with a long history of developing leadership, patriotism and involvement of students in society through leadership development, patriotism and student involvement in the development of the country from an education based on their education and culture perspective in order to assist in the development of society.

ABVP, one of India’s largest student organizations, was founded on 9 July 1949. Over the years, it has expanded its mission to universities and colleges and works on education, student welfare, skills development and youth empowerment. It regularly holds demonstrations, leadership programs, blood donation drives, environmental activities, and relief work for natural disasters.

Amit Shah wrote to the people. “ABVP members’ dedication and hard work have been a great way for students to have a sense of nationalism,” he wrote. He said he was sure that the organization would hold young people to the highest expectations of society and the country.

The Home Minister also complimented the efforts of ABVP volunteers who are active on a personal level in volunteering community service beyond educational institutions and more so by giving of their time so that they can help people. The focus of the ABVP on discipline, social responsibility and national values has enabled thousands of students to develop leadership skills while helping the nation, he said.

ABVP has always stated that it is about education, students’ rights and character building. Aside from running seminars, debates and academic discussions, it also raises issues of campus infrastructure, examination reform, scholarships and employment for students.

Foundation Day has its own activities in many states and each year, the group will organise cultural events, seminars, tree plantation drives and social service work. Senior leaders, alumni and student representatives of the organization will usually attend these events to reflect on the organization and discuss future activities and to take part in them.

Political leaders from BJP and other organisations also extended their greetings to ABVP members for the contribution of the group to student engagement and public service over the years.

ABVP supporters see it as a place where young people can develop leadership skills and engage in citizenship. Also, the student community has been on the receiving end of some of the most heated political debates on university campuses and is very much involved in student politics in India.

ABVP is celebrating Foundation Day again and can use this to reaffirm its dedication to education, community service and the development of the country. Amit Shah’s message also made the day much more meaningful to students and young volunteers in India and the future of India to give a message to them which they had to contribute to their future, which we can only hope will be beneficial for them to live by and to be a part of so that we can do so.

ABVP is in a legacy lasting over seven decades and still a very strong voice in India’s student community in leadership, education, and social service while tackling issues that are affecting young people all over the country.
