A 20-year-old college student died after a cement lorry allegedly rammed her scooter from behind on Hosur Main Road in Anekal town, on the outskirts of Bengaluru, on Thursday. The accident took place when the student was returning home after attending her college classes.
The deceased woman is Inchara, a resident of Hombalaghatta village. She was pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree and regularly travelled to college on her scooter. She had been at her classes on Thursday before she went back home.
The accident took place near Savera Tea Stall on Hosur Road in Anekal. A cement lorry allegedly collided with Inchara’s scooter from behind, police said. The young student suffered severe injuries.
