His actions allowed the woman to continue traveling until she arrived at a place where she could get further help.

Saraf recalled that she was in Bengaluru for a short trip and was going out for lunch when she witnessed the unexpected act of kindness. According to Saraf, the driver did not look like he was looking for attention or recognition in helping the stranded commuter, she said.

Saraf described the experience as one of the sweetest moments of her Bengaluru trip. She said that kind gesture made her realize kindness still exists and that good stories are just as important as bad ones.

The passenger also tagged Uber India and named the driver Tanzeem. She also asked the company to recognize his efforts and that he was a guy who was warmly and sincerely helpful and honest in the service he was doing for the woman, she wrote to Uber saying he should be thanked for helping her. She also called on Uber to reward the driver for going above and beyond his regular work.

The video has since attracted millions of views. As of the last update, it has reached 7.8 million views and thousands of comments from social media users who applauded Tanzeem’s gesture.

The incident drew the attention of many users because of Bengaluru’s tradition of helping strangers in difficult situations. One user described the driver as a “responsible citizen, father and human,” and another praised the city itself, saying the incident represented the warmth and helpfulness associated with Bengaluru.

Some of the folks said stories like this should be told more often in order to help bring back faith in humanity. And social media users are quick to write negative things on their experiences but don’t think about kindness and positivity alike, one commenter said.

So the incident has turned into more than just another viral video. Tanzeem’s simple decision to stop and help a stranded commuter has served as a reminder that small acts of compassion can have long-lasting effects. His gesture has also sparked a wider conversation online about how to recognize everyday heroes who quietly help others without expecting anything in return.
