Some savage case of road rage occurred on Wednesday, February 11, in broad daylight, and a man was dragged a distance of around 1 kilometre on the bonnet of a car after a minor collision took place in the HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) section in Bengaluru.
The Incident
This confrontation allegedly commenced on the busy stretch of Old Airport Road. Eyewitnesses and initial police reports indicated a minor accident between a red hatchback and another vehicle. When the victim tried to halt the driver to talk about damage, the driver allegedly refused to roll down his windows and sped up. Suspecting he would be run over, the victim hopped onto the car’s bonnet.
The driver did not stop, instead speeding through traffic for nearly a kilometre, disregarding the cries of the victim and the screams of horrified onlookers.

Police Action and Arrest
The HAL Police had immediate notice of the viral video that was shared, and the formal complaint made by the victim. The driver has been detained; the vehicle that was involved in the crime was seized as well. Police have made it known that the driver is booked under Section 109(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for attempt to murder and reckless driving and public safety offenses.
