The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) has dropped its protest after talks with the government, with the party claiming that all of its demands have been answered.
Responding to the media after the meeting, CJP National Spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka appealed to the demonstrators gathered at the protest site and across the country to end their agitation peacefully and return home.

"All our demands have been accepted, so we request the protesters to withdraw immediately and return home peacefully. We will inform you of our future strategy or any other issues. But we request the protesters to withdraw immediately," Ranka told them.
After many demonstrations and talks over education reform and student anger, the CJP went into talks with the government, and it was finally able to reach the party's top demands and suspend the protest.
Appeal for Peaceful Withdrawal
Ranka stressed that the immediate focus was to work out a peaceful resolution of the demonstrations. He said supporters should not engage in any more violence and should cooperate with authorities and leave protest sites.
He also said that the party would communicate on its future course of action at a later stage, and that it would keep monitoring implementation of the promises made in the talks.
