A full-fledged emergency was declared at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi as a flight IndiGo engine failure on her way to D.G. Airport caused a quick response from aviation officials.
The airplane suffered a technical failure in one of its engines; the pilots informed Air Traffic Control right away about it and put them onto land at once, they said on the record. The airport was swift to declare an emergency and get all emergency service, including fire tenders, ambulances, and emergency response teams on board.
The flight returned and landed without loss of life according to the quick response and coordination and cooperation of pilot, crew & ground staff. Passengers who were boarding with the aircraft were evacuated and guidelines on safety were followed in flight, an official said.
These sources says aircraft pilots reacted immediately in order to identify a problem with the engine, as per the aviation industry safety guidelines). However, they still don’t know why the engine broke down of the aircraft which is now thoroughly tested.
It is worth noting, Airport operations are maintained at Indira Gandhi International Airport yet as the first emergency landing since the beginning and even then, nothing went awry - the plane took off safely. Such incidents always happen, though, in aviation terms, it's for the safety of airplanes that airline are always ahead.
IndiGo, the biggest among all India’s airlines by market share, could make an official statement once it has fully completed it at the airline and could do it in a non-toast environment, they added.
The government is claiming this should not provoke panic for aircraft because modern airliners are able to handle engine failure quickly and efficiently, and even come and go on an operational aircraft with a single engine operating over the air.
