A road incident in Delhi’s RK Puram area has led to the arrest of a 73-year-old driver after a blue Honda Amaze collided with a parked motorcycle and dragged it along the road. The incident happened on the night of September 17 on Africa Avenue Road and the motorcycle owner was caught up in the incident; police said local residents intervened following the collision.
According to the details of the case, the Honda Amaze was driven by 73-year-old Venu Gopal (Vasant Kunj) in the evening. The car had hit a black motorcycle belonging to 21-year-old Tanish Tokas (RK Puram) after 10 p.m. When it did, the motorcycle was dragged by the car for a while before people in the vicinity intervened.
Tokas fell during the incident and escaped with no serious injuries. The circumstances of the collision and the movement of the vehicle were at the centre of the police investigation. The incident also caught attention because the motorcycle was dragged after it was hit.
