New Delhi: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the CA Foundation May 2026 examination results, and so many aspiring Chartered Accountants across the country can now look at their scorecards online at caresults.icai.org.
According to ICAI, the overall pass percentage for the May 2026 CA Foundation examination is 20.09%, with only about one in five candidates successfully clearing the entry-level examination. The result captures the high standard for the institute for admissions to the next stage of the Chartered Accountancy course.
Candidates can check their results on the official result site and enter their roll number and registration number. The online scorecard shows subject-wise marks, total marks obtained, and the state of eligibility.

- Click on the CA Foundation May 2026 Result link.
- Enter your Roll Number and Registration Number.
- Complete the security verification (CAPTCHA).
- Click Submit to view your scorecard.
To be selected for the CA Foundation examination, candidates should:
Score at least 40% marks in each paper and secure at least 50% aggregate marks across all papers.
In this regard, the candidates who meet both criteria will be eligible to continue with registration for the CA Intermediate course.
The students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for verification of marks as per the procedure prescribed by ICAI after the declaration of results. The institute will also issue detailed notifications regarding verification and subsequent admission processes on its official website.
The CA Foundation result is a major achievement for aspiring Chartered Accountants. Successful candidates can now start preparing for the intermediate level, and others can improve on their preparation for the next session.
