India Approves Takeda's Qdenga as First Dengue Vaccine to Combat All Four Virus Types

The approval will help to speed up dengue vaccine development by safeguarding against all four dengue virus serotypes (DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3, and DENV-4) that cause recurring dengue outbreaks across India and many tropical countries.

Dengue is still a big public health challenge in India, especially during and after monsoon season when mosquito breeding peaks.
