Uday Krishna Reddy, who is from Andhra Pradesh, has been recognised for overcoming the journey from working as a police constable to clearing the Civil Services Examination and becoming an IPS officer.

Incident Reported in Hyderabad

The alleged suicide attempt took place on Sunday. Reddy was immediately shifted to a private hospital in the S.R. Nagar area of Hyderabad, where he is currently being treated in intensive care.
