Kangana Ranaut, BJP Member of Parliament, has criticised Rahul Gandhi for the protest by the opposition in New Delhi while the opposition in Delhi has been protesting.
Ranaut claimed that there was a major security breach and questioned Rahul Gandhi’s purported attempt to direct protesters towards the Prime Minister’s residence instead of confining the demonstration to its designated location.

The BJP MP said such behavior required serious attention, especially in light of the security considerations around the Prime Minister’s official residence.
She further stated:
You know how protestors have been threatening, and then Rahul Gandhi does this. This is a matter of great concern for all.
Defends Government on NEET issue.
Ranaut also responded to opposition criticism over the NEET examination controversy and rejected calls at the time that Modi should quit as prime minister for the same problem.
She said the government is working hard to address the examination system’s problems.
"On NEET, the government is making all efforts. Why should the PM resign?" she said.
The BJP leader defended Modi's leadership, saying:
He is the most popular leader.
Political Tensions Continue
The comments come at a time of increased political tension between opposition protests over student-related issues with the government over examination management and demands for greater government accountability.
Congress leaders have accused the Centre of not addressing the issues facing students well enough and have questioned whether the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will carry on in office. Opposition members of parliament have also been wearing black in Parliament in protest over student welfare and the government’s response to recent developments.
The BJP, on the other hand, has rejected the opposition’s accusations and has said that the government has been taking measures to improve competitive exam credibility and improve the quality of the country's education system. Party leaders have said that the opposition is trying to politicise issues affecting students in this regard.
Security and Protest Debate
Ranaut’s comments also feed into the ongoing political debate over the conduct of protests in the national capital. Opposition parties say peaceful demonstrations are a democratic right, but the BJP has said protests must be held in designated areas and not compromise security arrangements.
But authorities continue to monitor demonstrations closely and say citizens have a constitutional right to protest peacefully, but public gatherings must take place in accordance with laws and security protocols.
The bitter accusations between the ruling party and the opposition are expected to continue as Parliament debates education, governance, and public accountability in the present session.
