To our knowledge, the couple was going on a motorcycle near Keshod when a car collided with their two-wheeler. The impact was severe and both riders died right away, he said.

CCTV footage from the incident has already made rounds and it shows the crash. It was reported that the car was approaching the motorcycle and hit it. The impact is said to have been strong, throwing the two-wheeler off balance and killing the couple.

The accident has increased road safety in the area, especially the safety of two-wheeler riders on busy roads. Motorcyclists are among the most vulnerable road users and high-speed collisions with larger vehicles could be catastrophic.

Police were asked to respond and investigate the accident and started. The CCTV footage is being checked and information on the cars and people involved is gathered. The reason for the collision will be clearly identified by the investigators as the speed, road conditions and driver behaviour will be the focus of the investigation.

The identities of the deceased and any information about the crash may be revealed by authorities in the course of the investigation.

Road accidents are still a serious problem for India and car-motorcycle accidents are a big problem for road safety as many people are injured or killed in road accidents. Drivers should be driving to the speed limit, keep a safe distance, and stay out of the way of other vehicles, it is recommended.

The Keshod accident has once again highlighted the importance of cautious driving and responsible road behaviour.

The CCTV footage may help investigators to reconstruct the sequence of events but two lives have been lost and their family and community are grieving.

Police are investigating what made the collision so tragic; the investigation will continue. We will take action on the evidence we have gathered during the investigation.
