A bus racing attempt in India was reportedly halted after one person was killed and 7 others were injured when a vehicle overturned in what was a tragic accident.
According to what we could understand about the collision, the man was attempting to race another bus in the incident when the situation went wrong. During the course of the chase, the bus tipped over during the collision and an entire bus was destroyed. At least seven people were injured and one person lost their life in the crash.
The circumstances of the collision are still being ascertained. Initial indications are that the accident occurred during a race with another bus. What could have begun with a race or a display of driving skills turned into a deadly accident that indicates the dangers involved when large passenger vehicles are driven aggressively.

For those injured, the immediate priority is medical treatment and recovery. But the death has been a sad reminder of how quickly something that seems orderly can become dangerous when safety precautions are ignored.
