Some schools in Chandigarh received bomb threat messages, officials said, which raised concern among students, parents, and school staff. Emergency procedures were immediately applied, and bomb disposal teams and dog squads were sent to the area to perform inspections.

The bomb scare was not limited to educational institutions. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was also targeted in the threatening messages, and security agencies intensified their measures around the Chief Minister and government establishments in the state.

As well as the danger on the Ambala-Delhi railway line, one of the busiest routes in northern India, it added to that danger. Railway authorities immediately notified the security personnel, who began checking tracks, stations, and other railway facilities along the route for the safety of passengers.

There were several teams deployed to verify the validity of the threats, senior police officials said. Bomb detection units, anti-sabotage teams, and intelligence personnel searched the affected sites thoroughly. At this point in time, there are no suspicious objects or explosive materials recovered, said police and intelligence sources.

It's believed that the threats may have been sent electronically, and cybercrime experts have been roped in to trace the origin of the messages. Digital footprints, email records, and communication channels used to send the threats are now being investigated.

Even so, parents and commuters were nervous, officials said, but all necessary precautions were made. School administrators collaborated with law enforcement to protect the students and staff, and the railway authorities kept track of train operations.

Security is extremely tight in Chandigarh, Ambala, and other sensitive places throughout Haryana. Police have also been deployed in schools, government offices, railway stations, and public places.

Officials urged citizens not to panic and reminded them to rely only on verified information from government and law enforcement agencies. They also said that rumours or unverified messages on social media platforms could lead to unnecessary fear.

The incident is also part of a higher trend of bomb threat emails and messages being reported at schools, airports, hospitals, and public institutions in India over the past few years. Most of the threats that were issued by such emails turned out to be hoaxes in the end, but authorities are taking every warning seriously and making sure there is no risk to public safety.

The government is investigating who is behind the threats. Police have assured the public that if anyone were to send threats to create panic or to interfere with public security, then action will be taken.

The investigation is on track, and security agencies are on high alert to secure students, public officials, railway passengers, and residents of the region and its citizens.
