Technology: The Joy of a Good Technology Teacher

A highlight of this year’s interaction was the Prime Minister's remarks on artificial intelligence. In response to concerns that AI will make students “lazy,” PM Modi offered a refreshing perspective. “Technology is a boon so we have to embrace technology,” the PM said. “But remember, AI should not replace your brain, it should elevate it. Think of AI as an intelligent tool to enhance your reasoning and character. It's for exploration, not a shortcut for thought.”

He urged students to view technology as a mentor, providing them with data, while relying on their own intuition and ethics to give “soul” to their work. The Blueprint for 'Developed India' linking the classroom with nation-building, PM Modi told the youth that their habits today would determine India’s status by 2047. He identified cleanliness as one of the core pillars of a developed nation.

“To be a successful professional… you have to first be a responsible citizen,” he said before a packed audience. Mission: He appealed to students to drive the agenda for cleanliness (Swachhata), stating that a "Developed India" is only possible in their own area where a clean and healthy environment prevails.

  • Managing Exam Stress: "Celebrate exams like festivals." To keep PPC as an essence, the prime minister introduced 'Mantras' for stress management:
  • Digital Fasting: His recommendation was that families enter a "No-Gadget Zone" for one hour a day to foster real human connections.
  • No Competition with Others: He advised parents not to treat children's report cards as their own visiting cards and urged students to compete only with their previous selves.

After the session concluded, the PM took selfies with the participants who attended the session, while ensuring a message of resilience: "Exams are just a milestone, not the destination."
