Narendra Modi and all members of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) attended the weekly Mangal Milan meeting at the Parliament Library Building, New Delhi, on Tuesday before leaving the venue.

The Mangal Milan meeting is the weekly meeting of NDA lawmakers, and it allows alliance members to talk about parliamentary business and legislative priorities, to discuss issues likely to come up in the session, and to discuss each other’s agendas. These meetings allow party leaders to inform the parliament of the government’s agenda and to have a common vision of how to conduct the debates and legislative business.
The meeting was meaningful when Parliament was still holding discussions on various important matters, and both government and opposition were still discussing legislative proposals and issues of national importance. Political observers note that regular dealings between the Prime Minister and NDA lawmakers will strengthen communication within the alliance and help to make decisions on parliamentary matters collectively. The meeting ended when the MPs left the Parliament Library Building to resume their parliamentary activities.
