Hyderabad: In a shocking incident that has sent shockwaves across Telangana, a 28-year-old man allegedly murdered six people, including the minor girl who accused him in a POCSO case, in Shabad of Ranga Reddy district. Police suspect the killings were carried out as an act of revenge after the accused was released on bail.
The accused, Raju Kumar, allegedly targeted the minor complainant and her family and also killed his own wife and two young children, the police said.
Victims include the minor girl, Her Family, and the Accused's Family.
Police said the victims include:
- The minor girl who had filed the POCSO complaint against the accused.
- The girl’s mother. The girl’s grandmother.
- The accused's wife, Saritha. His three-year-old child. His two-year-old child.
Investigators believe the attack was premeditated, but the exact sequence of events is still being established.
Police alerted by the accused's Parents
Raju Kumar allegedly contacted his parents after committing the murders and informed them of the killings.
His parents immediately alerted the police, after which officers raced to the crime scene.
Senior police officials, including Future City Police Commissioner Tarun Joshi and Deputy Commissioner of Police Yogesh Gautam, visited the spot to monitor the investigation.

Police have registered a case and launched a thorough investigation into the motive, timeline, and circumstances surrounding the multiple murders.
