A shocking road accident took the life of a six-year-old child in Shivamogga district of Karnataka, leaving the family and the local community grief-stricken. It happened in Gundugadde village near Guddepal, under the jurisdiction of Triyambakapura Gram Panchayat in Thirthahalli taluk.
The child has been identified as Rishya, the six-year-old son of Pragath, a resident of Gundugadde village.

According to initial information, Rishya was playing near his house, as he did most days. As he played, the child wandered onto the nearby road, police said. At the same time, a car traveling through the area hit the boy.
The impact of the collision was severe, leaving the child with critical injuries. Family members and residents rushed him to a nearby hospital to save his life.
But Rishya died before he could be brought in to receive emergency medical treatment, leaving his parents devastated.

Witnesses said the child was happily playing just moments before the accident, making the tragedy even more painful for those who were there.
