Uttarakhand is working on a new education-oriented initiative for competitive exams preparation for students across the state. In this regard, the state government will launch the Chief Minister Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana-2026, where eligible students will receive free online coaching and academic guidance for competitive and entrance exams.
The scheme was approved by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and a formal launch is expected to take place soon. This is an affordable way for students to reduce the cost of private coaching and to access well-organized preparation materials whatever their location.
Students aspiring to higher studies in universities, government colleges and government-aided colleges in Uttarakhand will be able to access online coaching under the proposed programme. The government is going to use digital platforms to provide study materials, classes and advice for students in different parts of the state.
Coaching For Multiple Competitive Examinations
The Chief Minister Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana is expected to cover several major competitive examinations which attract students seeking careers in government services, banking, defence, railways and other sectors. Students will be able to prepare for Civil Services examinations, Defence Services examinations, banking recruitment tests, Railway examinations and Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examinations.
The programme will also be applicable to important entrance and eligibility tests. These include the Common Admission Test (CAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE), National Eligibility Test (NET) and the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR-NET).
The broad range of examinations covered under the scheme could be useful to students from all fields. It is possible that students might be preparing for government recruitment examinations but might use the programme to get into postgraduate admissions, management education, engineering and/or academic careers.
Free Online Classes To Reduce Coaching Costs
Private coaching for competitive exams can be expensive, especially for students who have to take some degree in long-term preparation for competitive exams. For students who live outside large cities, tuition fees, accommodation, transportation, study material and other expenses may be the price students would have to pay for their education.
