Arundhati Reddy Shines With ICC Women’s Player of the Month Award

Arundhati Reddy wins the international women’s player of the month during February 2026. That was a big achievement for Indian girl cricketer Arundhati Reddy. India’s women team faced Australia in a three-match T20I series here in India earlier this year. Reddy was the overall best wicket-taker claiming eight wickets in the series. She bowled in such disciplined fashion at the average of 10.87 and the economy rate of 7.25, which restricted the mighty batting line Australia of all time. She went all round and she achieved a 2-1 series win for India in their home ground against Australia.

Reddy wasn’t only a numbers person; she had an impact too. In front of them she got some great breakthroughs at crucial moments, changing things in India’s favour. Winning the series enhanced the team's confidence for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

The recognition of Reddy for the ICC Player of the Month award is a landmark to her career and her future as a medium defender. She said beating Australia in their own backyard made the award even more wonderful.

That award also marks her as one of the world's greatest women cricketers, highlighting India’s progress in Women’s Cricket.
