Sinner will now meet the newly crowned French Open champion Alexander Zverev in Sunday's blockbuster final at the All England Club, setting up a clash between the world's top two seeds.

The Italian was in complete control of Djokovic and he overpowered the 24-time Grand Slam champion with his aggressive baseline game and clinical serving. Sinner had only dropped one set all tournament and he was unstoppable again with play from the first point.

Djokovic, who was coming off a marathon five-hour 15-minute quarter-final victory over Felix Auger-Aliassime - the longest quarter-final in Wimbledon history -- seemed to have little left in the tank against the relentless Italian.

Sinner hardly gave the Serbian any opportunities. The World No. 1 only had one break point in the whole match and eliminated it in the third set with a thunderous ace.

The victory extends Sinner's supreme run on grass and puts him within touching distance of a second consecutive Wimbledon title.

Zverev Keeps Grand Slam momentum alive.

Alexander Zverev ended British wildcard Arthur Fery’s dream run with a convincing 7-6 (7-0), 6-2, 6-4 victory in front of a packed Centre Court.

Fery, ranked No. 114 in the world and just minutes from where he grew up, had captured the hearts of British fans during his remarkable Wimbledon campaign. But Zverev’s powerful serving and experience proved too much.

The German fired serves at 139 mph (224 km/h) and kept the crowd from influencing the match after dominating the opening-set tiebreak.

After winning, Zverev admitted that Wimbledon had been his toughest Grand Slam.

"This Grand Slam has always been the one that I struggled with the most and all of a sudden I'm in the final of Wimbledon," Zverev said.

"We have one more match to go on Sunday and that's what we're focusing on."

Zverev, who won his first Grand Slam title at Roland Garros, is now looking to become the first man in the Open Era (since 1968) to win his second major title immediately after claiming his first.

Despite his recent success, history is very much against him. Sinner has won their last nine meetings and has taken 14 consecutive sets against the German.

Before he knew he would be facing the Italian, Zverev was confident.

"I have to trust myself, I have to believe I can win and that’s what I’m going to do."

Historic Opportunity Awaits

For Sinner, Sunday's final is a chance to cement his dominance at the top of men’s tennis by defending his Wimbledon title.

For Zverev, it is a chance to complete one of the best stretches in recent Grand Slam history with a Wimbledon title.

The women's singles final on Saturday will be all-Czech between Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova and all eyes now turn to Centre Court for what could be a thrilling men's final between two of the sport's greatest stars.
