And one of the big moments of the night happened in Brussels, where France beat Belgium 1-0.
The match appeared to be due for a goalless draw before substitute Michael Olise scored a stunning late winner. The France forward ran through the Belgian defence and scored the goal in the final stages.
The victory gave France another important three points in League A Group 1 after their opening-day win against Türkiye. Reuters also confirmed Olise's late goal as the decisive moment of the match.
Italy Bounce Back With 4-1 Win
Italy produced one of Monday’s most convincing performances by beating Türkiye 4-1 in Bursa.
Alessandro Bastoni opened the scoring before Davide Frattesi added Italy’s second. Michael Kayode then made it 3-0, giving Italy a commanding advantage.
Türkiye pulled one back after the interval but Pio Esposito restored Italy’s three-goal lead. The victory was particularly important after Italy’s 2-0 defeat to Belgium in their opening match.
Sweden Beat Poland 3-1
Sweden also had a strong night and defeated Poland in League B Group 4 3-1.
Sweden moved to the top of the group after two matches. Poland remained without a win in the campaign after a 0-0 draw with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
UEFA's official results list confirms the score as Sweden 3-1 Poland, correcting the earlier reversal of the teams in the result.

Bosnia and Herzegovina Win 4-2
Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Romania 4-2 in another high-scoring Group B4 match.
The result gave Bosnia and Herzegovina their first victory of the league phase after their opening 0-0 draw against Poland. Romania also suffered their second loss after losing 2-1 in Sweden.
Montenegro Claim Late Victory
In League C Group 2, Montenegro defeated Armenia 3-2 in a close game. Aleksa Latković scored a late winner, helping Montenegro maintain their perfect start to the group stage.
Georgia and Ukraine drew 0-0, Northern Ireland and Hungary finished 0-0 while Latvia and Cyprus also had a goalless draw.
