T20 World Cup 2026: Schedule, Global Timings, Groups & Prize Money

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 is now being held officially throughout India and Sri Lanka. The event, a 20-team international mega-event, establishes a record for cricket because of its massive matches and extensive broadcast reach. The guide to the tournament is from New York or London, London or Mumbai.

1. Global Match Timings (IST, GMT, EST)  

Most of the matches are scheduled in 3 slots and cater for various time zones.

  • USA & Canada: Willow TV (Available via Amazon Prime, YouTube Primetime, and Sling). Team USA matches are free on the Willow YouTube channel.

  • Pakistan: PTV and Myco (TV); Tamasha and Tapmad (Streaming).

3. Format, Groups, and Teams  

The 20-team tournament consists of four distinct groups of five teams in total. The first two of each group make it to the Super 8s, with the semi-finals and final to follow.

4. Prize Money  

Real 2026 figures from the ICC have not been announced, but it is believed that the figures will exceed that of the $11.25 million (about ₹93 crore) pool from the 2024 season.

  • Winner's share: Expected to surpass $2.5 million.
  • Participation Fee: Each team gets an awarded sum for entering the groups, with extra funds for every win.
