The squad features the return of senior stars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, ensuring India’s batting lineup remains formidable. Young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad add fresh energy at the top, while Tilak Varma continues to be groomed as a middle-order option. The inclusion of Rishabh Pant provides India with another wicketkeeping choice alongside Rahul, strengthening the team’s flexibility.

In the all-rounder department, Ravindra Jadeja makes a crucial comeback, offering both batting depth and spin options. He will be supported by Washington Sundar, while the spin attack is further bolstered by Kuldeep Yadav. The selectors have also shown faith in youngsters like Nitish Kumar Reddy and Harshit Rana, signaling India’s intent to balance experience with emerging talent.  The pace battery includes Prasidh Krishna, Arshdeep Singh, and Dhruv Jurel, giving India a mix of swing, bounce, and death-over control.
