Netherlands vs Germany is one of the biggest games on Thursday.
The match will be played at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam and will take place at 8:45 PM CET on Thursday, which is 12:15 AM IST on Friday, September 25.
The match also marks the first Nations League matches for Xavi Hernández as head coach of Netherlands and Jürgen Klopp as head coach of Germany, adding another dimension to an already high-profile match. UEFA says that the two sides met in the previous Nations League edition, and Germany won in Munich after a 2-2 draw in Amsterdam.
Portugal vs Wales: Defending Champions Start Campaign
Portugal vs Wales is another major game on the opening day.
Portugal will host Wales at Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon at 8:45 PM CET on Thursday, or 12:15 AM IST on Friday.
Portugal is the defending Nations League champions, while Wales return to League A after being promoted from League B in the previous edition.
Cristiano Ronaldo is still part of Portugal's team, while Wales will begin their campaign under manager Craig Bellamy.
