Dog Sathish, who runs the well-known Instagram handle @sathishcadaboms, said the trouble started on digital platforms. Following a complaint lodged at the Chamarajpet Police Station in Bengaluru, two particular Instagram accounts "Yuva Samrat" (Yuva Kannadiga) and "Yelahanka_guru" have been actively targeting him. These account holders reportedly have uploaded videos tagging Dog Sathish, using very provocative language and explicit death threats. The harassment escalated further when these people allegedly gave out Dog Sathish's private phone numbers to the public, encouraging others to join in the abuse.
Family Targeted: Mother Subjected to Verbal Abuse
Dog Sathish’s mother is the most troubled aspect of the ordeal, according to him, as he says that he has become targeted by it. But the harassers did not just harass the reality star—they reportedly shared his mother’s contact information as well. Dog Sathish and his mother have both been receiving phone calls from unknown numbers, where callers use unparliamentary and filthy language to intimidate. "My mother is terrified. The mass of hate and nature that accompanies these threats have caused us considerable psychological pain,” Dog Sathish said in a statement.
Plot to Sabotage Business Interests
Sathish Cadaboms is a prominent figure in the Indian dog business. He often goes up in literature with some of the most expensive dog breeds around the globe. He says the coordinated assault isn't just personal revenge for him but is actually a deliberate endeavor to bring down his business. Disinformation about him and defamatory content is spread via social media tags and videos. The accused claims to be attempting to damage his reputation with these messages as well as drive away his clientele. He says that the psychological abuse has become so bad that it is affecting his professional career, and it's now intolerable for Dog Sathish.
Police Action
The Chamarajpet Police have registered the complaint and are currently investigating digital footprints of the accused Instagram accounts. Authorities are also tracking the phone numbers from which the threatening calls originated. According to the Information Technology (IT) Act and the Indian Penal Code (IPC): cyber-stalking, criminal intimidation, defamation, the perpetrators might get in serious trouble.
