Since its launch in November 2025, Dance Karnataka Dance (DKD) 2025 has become a haven for raw talent and artistry. Now the trip finishes with a two-day grand finale event in the center of Ramanagara.
Fans will get access to the first half of the finale on Saturday, April 11 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and the final winner is set to be crowned after the mega-episode on Sunday, April 12 on Zee Kannada and Zee5 from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
The Finalists: Who Will Claim the Crown?
The five pairs have been selected, all of whom have their own flavor in the contest. The people to claim the prestigious statue that will be remembered the iconic photograph of the late Puneeth Rajkumar are:
- Pooja and Anoop
- Mohith and Ananya
- Siddhegowdru (Dhananjay) and Deeshal
- Harsha and Nandu
- Shikshith Thapa and Sanjana
From the popular "Golden Stories of the Silver Screen" to high-octane game, contestants have had many an alternate theme that serves as proof of their skills and commitment to the craft.
The Star-Studded Panel
Among the reasons of the show’s success is an exceptionally stellar bench of judges who have played the role of mentors rather than critics. Dr. Shivarajkumar, the iconic “Hat-trick Hero,” has been running the panel with a contagious energy, joined by his wife, Geetha Shivarajkumar, on the sidelines.
His cast also includes the musical powerhouse Arjun Janya, the "Dimple Queen" Rachita Ram, and actor Vijay Raghavendra. Adding to its charm is the popular Anushree, whose witty anchoring, emotional connection with the contestants, or the way she acts in the air, has made her a household piece of cooking.
In an emotional gesture even, in the weeks leading up to the finale, Shivarajkumar and Geetha reportedly gifted the contestants, choreographers and mentors ₹50,000 each as a reward for their hard work.
More Than Just a Competition
As the season closes in, those participants can’t take only scores away, they leave with life lessons taught by veterans of the industry. The "Appu Trophy" is still the prize at the end of the "Power Star" spirit and the highest level of performance for any dance competition in Karnataka.
As DKD 2025 is set for air this Sunday, word is already flying about a whole new reality show about to hit prime time. But for now, everyone’s eyes are on the Ramanagara stage to see which couple will dance their way into history.
