Maruti Suzuki is set up for the launch of the new 2026 Brezza, and there is already a lot of excitement among SUV owners. The compact SUV was just seen virtually totally undisguised in what looks like an advertisement shoot, which is one of the best images to see the new model before it is launched.
The latest sighting indicates that Maruti Suzuki is trying for subtle but significant design changes rather than a major redesign. The SUV has a new pair of two-tone alloy wheels and the new dual-tone alloy wheels give it an elegant look so that it is more premium, modern, and contemporary. The Brezza is still tough and has black plastic around the wheel arches and lower body as it remains all about ruggedness. The blacked-out pillars and the contrasting roof all work for more sporty and urban appeal.
While the exterior update feels evolutionary, the interior could be a more radical redesign. The 2026 Brezza could even come with leatherette seat upholstery, industry sources say, adding a touch of refinement. In addition to features such as ventilated front seats ,something that is becoming more and more popular in the segment and a larger touchscreen infotainment system for the car to improve the overall in-car experience.
The Brezza is one of Maruti Suzuki’s best performers in the compact SUV space because it is practical, reliable, and efficient. The Brezza should still be able to compete with the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, and Mahindra XUV 3OO, as they all get updated and new features are also made available.
Interestingly, what is most interesting in the facelift is not its design or features list but what we may find under the hood. The existing powertrain options are likely to be continued but Maruti could offer a new 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox. If this is the case then that would be a big step towards making it more engaging for the fans and widening the Brezza's appeal.
Maruti Suzuki has not given any official word about it yet, but when the undisguised test vehicles are already out there, it’s not far away. As the hype builds, the 2026 Brezza facelift will surely provide a different take on style, technology, and even performance to one of India’s most popular compact SUVs.
Details are expected to emerge in the coming weeks as Maruti Suzuki will go to the showroom soon to open the covers on the new Brezza.
