Royal Enfield is due to launch a number of new and updated motorcycles over the next few months. The Chennai based brand is also going to develop a huge range of adventure motorcycles, café racers, roadsters and bigger machines.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 and Continental GT 750 have the highest number of sales and the Himalayan 750, Interceptor 750, Bullet 650 and Scram 450 are expected to be added to the brand's product arsenal in FY2027.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 440 is expected to be one of the most accessible additions to the company’s adventure motorcycle range. The motorcycle could be launched in September or October 2026 (the launch date is not known at this stage).
The expected price is ₹2.4 lakh - ₹2.6 lakh ex-showroom depending on source. It will be an adventure touring motorcycle that is priced low and is a good alternative to Royal Enfield’s Himalayan family. The new bike will have a better or a different engine, new appearance and a more versatile touring and off-road riding setup.
Royal Enfield's other flagship, Continental GT 750, is expected to be one of the company's most performance-oriented modern café racers. The bike will follow the Continental GT design line but with a bigger engine for it. The 750cc powertrain could produce 55PS and 60 Nm; the latter numbers are only predictions until Royal Enfield gives details.
The bike also is said to have more braking hardware and a bigger overall package to be compared to the existing Continental GT 650. The bike should be ready by late 2026 and some industry trackers say it will launch around November.
The Himalayan 750 could be another important model in Royal Enfield's upcoming lineup. Positioned above the Himalayan 450 from the inside-out, the larger adventure motorcycle will appeal to those who are looking for more highway performance and long-distance touring capabilities. This is likely to be priced around ₹4 lakh-₹5 lakh, but it is still an open secret.
The motorcycle will be based on a bigger twin-cylinder platform and will have more power, stronger hardware and more touring-friendly equipment. Its launch date is also still tentative, but industry sources currently believe to be late 2026 or the next product cycle.
Royal Enfield Interceptor 750 will be another motorcycle that will further develop the company's presence in the premium roadster market. The Interceptor name has already been used as the favourite of Royal Enfield motorcycles in the past and a bigger capacity version could provide better performance for highways. Interceptor 750 will share its 750cc engine family in the future and the model will be based on that.
The expected motorcycle will have the relaxed roadster image of Interceptor but with more power and longer range. Current industry estimates are that it will be launched around November 2026.
The Bullet 650 will also add to Royal Enfield's larger-engine portfolio of bigger-engine options. The Bullet name has a huge role in the company’s portfolio of larger engines for the Bullet 650 in particular and a 650cc version, and a 650cc version of the motorcycle would also have the smoothness of the bike but the performance potential of twin-cylinder production with a twin-cylinder platform in mind for the performance of a twin-cylinder engine.
Rumors are that the motorcycle would be in line with the five new models expected to be released in FY2027. If launched it could appeal to bike lovers who want classic Royal Enfield style but need a lot more performance than with the Bullet 350. Details of the specifications, equipment and price are still to be determined, with no firm specifications, equipment and pricing yet to be confirmed.
The Scram 450 is another motorcycle to watch. It will be on the front page of the new product line alongside the Scram 440 and based on the company’s 450cc engine. It would have the compact and accessible nature of a scrambler but at the same time be able to match Royal Enfield’s new 450cc engine. According to the media, the bikes could be perfect for urban commuting, weekend road trips and occasional mild off-road riding.
Royal Enfield is not only working with petrol-powered motorcycles, they are also developing electric products under the new Flying Flea brand, and an electric Himalayan concept is also going to be a real thing. The Flying Flea C6 and S6 would have a very different design/tech angle to Royal Enfield's traditional motorcycles. If successful, these models could bring a new level of visibility into the premium electric motorcycle category while not losing the brand’s design touch.
A good indication of Royal Enfield's focus on larger performance motorcycles comes from its racing activities. The official Continental GT Cup of the company’s official 2026 Continental GT Cup has the new Continental GT-R750 on it - showing that the company is already working with a 750cc platform in the performance era. That is not to say that the company has a firm specification of the road-going Continental GT 750 yet, but it can be seen that we are still developing larger-sized technologies.
Overall, Royal Enfield’s new motorcycle strategy seems to be aimed at a large range of customers. The Himalayan 440 would appeal to the mass market that wants an easy to adopt adventure motorcycle, and the Continental GT 750 and Interceptor 750 would appeal to the more adventurous with a big engine like that.
The Himalayan 750 would make the adventure family more premium, and the Bullet 650 would marry classic styling with a bigger engine. Scram 450 and the electric motorcycles which are to be launched in the future will bring Royal Enfield into new segments.
But prospective buyers should consider that most launch dates, prices and specifications currently circulating online are estimates rather than final company announcements. Different industry sources indicate different timelines, with some forecasting September or October launch dates for some models and others November or later. Royal Enfield will provide more details closer to each launch date.
With several new motorcycles in development, 2026-27 may prove to be one of the most important years for Royal Enfield in recent years. With new 650cc and 450cc bikes in production, new 650cc models introduced with the launch of 440cc and 450cc motorcycles, a new 750cc family and electric products, Royal Enfield is also ready to compete in more segments than ever before.
For motorcycle fans, the Himalayan 440 and Continental GT 750 will be among the most eagerly awaited products from Royal Enfield in the coming lineup.
