Google has launched its latest Pixel 11 smartphone offering in India, and its premium Android smartphone portfolio is now made even more robust with four new phones - Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold. And not only is the company creating the Pixel Watch 5, but they have also added a new smartwatch option based on Google's latest wearable software and hardware.
Much of the new Pixel generation focuses on artificial intelligence, photography, display technology and battery performance. The smartphones are powered by Google’s new Tensor G6 processor and come with expanded Gemini AI capabilities to make everyday tasks more convenient.
The Pixel 11 series starts at Rs 89,999 in India, while the premium Pixel 11 Pro Fold is priced at Rs 1,86,999.
Google Pixel 11 Series Price in India
The Pixel 11 is priced at Rs 89,999, so it is the entry point into the new flagship range. Pixel 11 Pro starts at Rs 1,19,999, and Pixel 11 Pro XL is priced at Rs 1,34,999.
At the top of the list is Pixel 11 Pro Fold with a price tag of Rs 1,86,999.
Google is also offering launch benefits such as instant cashback of up to Rs 10,000 and an exchange bonus of up to Rs 9,000. Eligible buyers can also have no-cost EMI for up to 24 months.
Pixel 11: Tensor G6 and 5x Telephoto camera
The Pixel 11 standard has a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with a peak brightness up to 3,000 nits. The phone is powered by the Tensor G6 chipset and has 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
The device has a 4,985mAh battery, which is designed for longer use.
Photography is still one of the key attractions of the Pixel range. The Pixel 11 has a triple rear camera system that includes a 48-megapixel main sensor, 13-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 10.8-megapixel 5x telephoto camera.
For selfies and video calls, it is equipped with a 10.5-megapixel front camera with autofocus.
The combination of Google’s computational photography and Gemini-powered AI features is expected to be one of the major selling points of the device.
Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL.
The Pixel 11 Pro is aimed at users who want flagship photography and performance without moving to the larger Pro XL form factor.
It has a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display with a variable refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz. It is able to reach a peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits.
Under the hood, the Pixel 11 Pro has a Tensor G6 processor and up to 16GB of RAM. It is powered by a 4,850mAh battery.
The camera system consists of a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 48-megapixel 5x telephoto camera.
The Pixel 11 Pro XL has essentially the same camera-focused hardware but with a bigger display and battery. It has a 6.8-inch screen and a 5,115mAh battery.
For users who prefer a large display and longer battery life, the Pro XL could be the more suitable choice. Those who prioritize photography but prefer a relatively compact flagship may find the standard Pro more appealing.
Pixel 11 Pro Fold Brings an 8-Inch Inner Display
Google has also expanded its foldable portfolio with the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. It has an 8-inch inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.5-inch cover display, which also supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
The foldable smartphone is powered by the Tensor G6 chipset and has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
In the rear, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold has a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 10.5-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 10.8-megapixel 5x telephoto camera.
The price of Rs 1,86,999 makes the Pixel 11 Pro Fold a premium proposition in India's increasingly competitive foldable smartphone market. Its large inner screen, flagship processor and AI features are aimed at those who want a high-end productivity and entertainment device.
Pixel Watch 5 Also Launched
Google has also introduced the Pixel Watch 5 alongside the new smartphones. The smartwatch has an AMOLED LTPO display and can reach a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits.
It will be available in 41mm and 45mm sizes. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 Accelerated chip and runs on Wear OS 7.
Google claims that the 41mm model can bring up to 30 hours of battery life, while the larger 45mm version can bring up to 40 hours.
The Pixel Watch 5 also includes several health and fitness tracking features, including ECG, heart-rate monitoring, SpO₂ tracking, skin-temperature measurement and body-response tracking.
Gemini AI takes centre stage
Artificial intelligence is still a big part of Google's Pixel strategy. The Pixel 11 series has more Gemini integration with AI capabilities to help users with tasks like discovery, communication, photography and everyday work.
Google’s choice of custom Tensor hardware and Gemini software makes the Pixel line of smartphones more distinct from other flagship smartphones.
As a whole, the Pixel 11 series is Google’s entry in the premium smartphone market in India. The Pixel 11 comes with the most powerful hardware at the lowest price in the range, and the Pro models are for photography and performance enthusiasts.
The Pixel 11 Pro XL is for large display and bigger battery users, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is for users who are willing to pay a lot for a foldable form factor.
With better cameras, brighter displays, larger batteries, the Tensor G6 processor, and Gemini AI capabilities, Google is positioning the Pixel 11 group as a strong competitor in India's high-end smartphone segment. But the Pixel 11 Pro Fold’s high price could still be a factor for customers in comparison to other flagship foldable smartphones.
