The Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) 2026 is set to convene thousands of fans in Abu Dhabi for one of the region’s biggest celebrations of movies, anime, comics, gaming, cosplay, and pop culture.
In April 2026 at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, an exciting line-up of celebrity appearances, interactive experiences, exclusive merchandise, and fan events will be planned.
One of the biggest attractions this year is Mackenyu Arata, popularly known as Mackenyu, the Japanese actor who turned up as Roronoa Zoro in Netflix’s live-action version of One Piece.
His involvement has generated huge excitement among anime and manga fans in the Middle East and beyond.
Mackenyu has also appeared in critically acclaimed productions such as Knights of the Zodiac, Rurouni Kenshin: The Final and Pacific Rim Uprising.
