March 19 is now the countdown for the global release of 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge', yet this spy thriller is also setting a new milestone at the US Box Office. Preliminary news tells us that the premiere pre-sales have already surged past $686,000, breaking the record previously held by Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, which achieved $650,000.
The race to $2 million
Though the premiere day (March 18) is already rewriting history, the overall opening weekend outlook is even more staggering. Statistically speaking, all advance bookings across both the USA and Canada are edging towards the $2 million mark, according to trade analyst data supplied by Venky Box Office.
