The wedding ceremony began at an auspicious 10:10 AM in Udaipur, with an exclusive group of nearly 50 guests, including immediate family and their closest industry collaborators. In conclusion, this marriage is a touching tribute to their diverse roots.

Two ceremonies in a day:

  • The Morning (Telugu Ceremony): The wedding, adhering to Andhra customs, marks Vijay’s heritage. In classic golden and white silk robes, the couple seemed ethereal.
  • The Evening (Kodava Ceremony): Later today at 4:00 PM, they will marry again in a traditional Kodava ceremony to honor Rashmika’s roots in Coorg. This sunset wedding is expected to include the signature Kodava jewellery and outfit which celebrates the cultural upbringing, dubbed "National Crush."

The Star-Studded Guest List

It was to be private, but there were a few of the couple's most trusted friends who did attend:

  • Sandeep Reddy Vanga: The director of Arjun Reddy and Animal, who has a “family-like relationship” with both actors.
  • Tharun Bhascker: The filmmaker who gave Vijay his breakout role in Pelli Choopulu.
  • Rahul Ravindran & Eesha Rebba: Close friends who were seen arriving in Udaipur earlier this week.
  • Ashika Ranganath: On social media, the actress shared some details of the colorful Haldi-turned-Holi celebrations.

"The Wedding of VIROSH"

The couple, who officially confirmed their union just days ago with the fan-made appellation "VIROSH," took a special note.

"Before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves you were already present. You called us 'VIROSH'. So today, we name our coming together in your honor."

Even the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, sent a letter sending his blessings to Vijay’s parents, wishing the couple a life together that is "divinely scripted" better than what the couple created on the silver screen.
