North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has issued a strong message regarding the escalating Middle East conflict, warning Arab nations that failing to support Iran could have serious consequences for the region.
According to reports from international media and statements carried by North Korean state outlets, Kim criticised recent attacks on Iran by the United States and Israel, calling them acts of aggression that threaten regional stability. During his remarks, Kim reportedly warned that Arab countries should not remain silent while Iran faces military pressure. He argued that if regional nations do not unite to support Tehran, they could face geopolitical changes in the future.
In a statement widely circulated online, Kim was quoted as saying that Arab nations risk waking up to the “nightmare of a Greater Israel” if they fail to act now. While the phrase “Greater Israel” is often used in political debates and conspiracy narratives about potential territorial expansion, it remains a highly controversial and disputed concept in geopolitical discussions.
Kim’s comments came amid the intensifying conflict involving Iran, Israel, and Western powers, which has already triggered missile exchanges, drone attacks, and rising tensions across the Middle East. Analysts say North Korea has historically expressed political support for Iran and frequently criticises U.S. and Israeli policies in the region.
Earlier this week, North Korea also publicly backed Iran’s leadership and condemned what it described as “illegal aggression” by the United States and Israel against Tehran.
Security experts note that Pyongyang’s statements are part of its broader geopolitical stance opposing Western influence and supporting countries that challenge U.S. allies. They also warn that rhetoric from global leaders could further inflame tensions during an already volatile period in the Middle East.
As the conflict continues to evolve, international observers fear that expanding alliances and political rhetoric could widen the crisis beyond the current battlefield.
