According to the couple, they were forced out of their home when their adopted son sold the property. They say they raised him as their own, but they were left on the streets after the house was sold.

The elderly couple also described their experience as deeply painful and accused their adopted son of abandoning them in their old age. In a touching reference to Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, they expressed anger and disappointment at what they say happened to them.

The couple is at an old-age home in Agra. They say this has continued for several years and they have been trying to make their complaints heard.

One of the more striking aspects of their story is their determination to use social media to get attention. They have recorded more than 1,000 videos since 2022 in order to highlight themselves and reach out to those that could help them, the couple said.

And that’s why they have had so many appeals in the past: when family disputes take them out of homes or support they are unable to go home. For the couple, social media has turned into documenting their situation and putting their complaints in the public eye.

The allegations have also raised broader questions about the responsibilities of children to elderly parents and the difficulties elderly citizens face in family and property disputes.

Although the couple has publicly disclosed their version of events, the allegations against their adopted son would have to be independently verified.

As the case has attracted attention because they say their home was sold for ₹46 lakh and they are not able to live there anymore. As they continue to tell their story in hundreds of videos they are persistent and continue to insist that they want to be recognized and helped.

They’ve been the subject of concern as the elderly couple remains at the old-age home as this has raised the concern that senior citizens should not be abandoned and should be supported legally and socially if disputes over property and family responsibilities arise.
