According to the police’s initial information, Suhail was on the way to Koramangala when a group of assailants attacked him. The attackers used machetes during the attack, with the medical store owner critically injured. Suhail could not be saved despite the attack.

The attack occurred in the Hosur Main Road traffic signal area - an area that usually sees cars and pedestrians move much more slowly. Police are investigating the nature of the attack and whether Suhail was targeted.

Following the murder, Madiwala Police launched an investigation and have since arrested five suspects. The arrests will help investigators find out what happened and why the killing occurred.

But the motivation for the murder is still under investigation. Police are investigating Suhail’s personal and business connections, possible disputes, and the circumstances of his movement towards Koramangala on the night of the incident.

Investigators will also look at available CCTV footage of the area to establish how the attackers approached Suhail and what happened immediately before and after the assault. Cameras from nearby roads, commercial establishments, and traffic junctions are essential in reconstructing the incident.

The murder has caused anxiety among the people and business owners in Mangammanapalya and the rest of Madiwala. A violent attack on people with machetes in a busy part of the city just weeks after the recent attack has revived fears of street crime and the safety of all those who go out at night.

Suhail was the owner of AS Medicals in Mangammanapalya. His death has left those familiar with him shocked, and police are investigating the motive behind the fatal attack.

The arrests of five suspects have been a big step forward in the investigation, but police have not disclosed all of the alleged involvement so far. Police will have to identify each of the accused and determine if others were involved in planning or carrying out the attack.

The investigation will also probe whether the killing was an outcome of a long-standing dispute or was the result of another motive. But until the investigation is complete, there is no real understanding of why the murder happened, the police said.

If investigators can piece together Suhail's death and the events that led to it, they will have to find other evidence to support that Suhail was murdered.

The incident once again has put Bengaluru’s crime problem under scrutiny, especially in densely populated and commercial areas. Police are going to be monitoring the investigation closely, and all of those involved in the incident will be brought before the law.

Madiwala Police are investigating the murder while five of the accused are under investigation. Details will be added as the investigation goes on as to the reason and motive behind the murder.
