The Delhi government has introduced the Budget for financial year 2026-27 with Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stating the huge expenditure of ₹1,03,700 crore. The budget is focused on infrastructure development, public welfare, healthcare and education related development and public welfare issues which are crucial to achieve Delhi as well as tackling the pressing city problems.
