The road-rage clash between an auto-rickshaw driver and a cab driver in Bengaluru’s Chikkapete has attracted attention once again to how fast disputes on busy city roads may turn into violent confrontations. The two drivers got into an argument in the crowded locality, where traffic movement can be quite hard because of the narrow and busy roads there, the report said.
Road-rage in Bengaluru is common, especially in places with heavy traffic in the city during the day. The city's older and commercial parts, Chikkapete, one of the oldest and commercial parts, are full of autorickshaws, cabs, two-wheelers, buses, delivery vehicles and pedestrians sharing limited road space.
