Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja has officially entered the Sankranthi 2026 competition with his latest family comedy-drama Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi (BMW). Since its release in theaters on January 13, 2026, the film has received early positive reviews for its "vintage Ravi Teja" comedy and pure family entertainment.
As the festivities unfold live in theaters all over town, many are already asking when and where the film will be available for digital streaming.
OTT is locked up
Zee5 is one of the largest companies involved with OTT. A much-awaited pre-release deal confirmed that Zee5 is to acquire Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi's digital streaming rights in the upcoming season. The platform reportedly struck a joint agreement for the digital and satellite rights that will guarantee the film's eventual airing on a television channel in Telugu-Zee Telugu as well.
The deal was closed for a "nominal but lucrative" price, industry insiders have said, indicating the company would benefit from the strong demand from the mass market for Ravi Teja’s comedic films during the holidays. Expected OTT Release Date. The makers at SLV Cinemas have given no mention as to when the film will be released, but it might fall within the usual four-week time for a major Telugu release.
Theatrical Release
January 13, 2026. Expected OTT Premiere: February 13 or 17; Mid-February 2026. If it's doing exceptionally well at the box office during the Sankranthi and Republic Day period, it might delay the digital release until late February, to maximize theatrical revenue.
