A massive hit by former LSG batter Evin Lewis has become one of the talking points from the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2026, after the West Indies left-hander launched a huge six that cleared the stadium during the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons' clash against the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots.
Lewis, the explosive batsman who can fly to the top of the order and get to each of the boundaries with ease, delivered another example of his power-hitting skills.
He struck Waqar Salamkheil with his left foot underneath and he sailed it into the stands. The ball reached the top of the stadium and fans were stunned at his wicket.
The moment occurred in match 12 of CPL 2026 at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua. The match was a high-scoring affair with St Kitts & Nevis Patriots posting 187/6 before Antigua & Barbuda Falcons broke through with three wickets to spare to reach 191/7 in 19.3 overs.
Lewis’ towering six was exactly the kind of entertainment that has made the Caribbean T20 tournament a favourite among cricket fans.

The Trinidad-born batter has established himself as one of the most destructive left-handed batsmen in T20 cricket. His aggression with his hands in the early innings makes him a dangerous opponent if he gets his timing right.
He had previous stints with Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants as a player and also been a CPL regular.
The 2026 CPL season has delivered such big-hitting entertainment already. Andre Russell scored nine sixes in one of the tournament’s first matches and Andries Gous also played a six-filled innings for Saint Lucia Kings.
