Indian cricket star Hardik Pandya has been in the news outside the cricket field as well after winning a baseball home-run challenge organised by YouTube’s popular MrBeast. The Indian all-rounder beat MrBeast in the competition and won $100,000 ( ₹94.9 lakh approx) prize money.
But what made the win special was Pandya’s decision to donate the entire prize money to charity. The money will help underprivileged kids and care for dogs in need.
The challenge video was uploaded to MrBeast’s YouTube channel on October 31, 2026 and news broke on November 1.
Hardik Pandya Takes on MrBeast in Baseball
MrBeast (real name Jimmy Donaldson) brought together popular athletes and content creators for a sports challenge video.
Some of the well known sporting personalities in the video were basketball great LeBron James, footballer Erling Haaland and Olympic gymnast Simone Biles.
Hardik Pandya was given a baseball challenge where he had to hit home runs and compete against MrBeast. Pandya revealed that he had never played baseball before.
The Indian cricketer was new to the game but showed his power-hitting skills and took on the challenge.
Hardik Wins $100,000 Prize Money
The competition was to hit baseballs out of the stadium. Whoever got three home runs would take $100,000.
Pandya got off to a flying start and took an early lead. MrBeast came back to level the game but Pandya hit the winning home run and won the match.
His performance surprised people (baseball was an unknown sport for him).
The prize money of $100,000 is ₹94.9 lakh (approx) so it was a memorable win for the Indian cricketer outside his usual sporting environment.

Hardik Donates Entire ₹95 Lakh to Charity
The biggest highlight of the challenge was after Pandya won.
Instead of keeping the prize money, the cricketer donated it all to charity. The money will go to underprivileged children and organisations working for dogs welfare.
Reports have named ADAPT and Community Streeties India among organisations making the donation.
Community Streeties India focuses on animal welfare and the donation is also for children in need.
His decision to give away all the prize money got noticed by fans who liked it.
