It was a light but dramatic moment at the field, when Rohit Sharma was at center stage when that was all but the real world of it as he took a walk over, he was checking equipment. His bat found itself being stuck in the measuring gauge when a umpire inspecting him took it by inspection, but there wasn't much fuss, it’s been reported by an Indian press.
The umpire then made that assessment of Rohit’s bat by checking for the size of the International Cricket Council as per the rules. These kinds of checks have developed in modern cricket to make sure quality is checked against equipment standards.
Just seconds before umpire tried to pass the bat through the gauge, it stuck and it was in question as to if it would be over-sized as the gauge said. A lot of uncertainty was had on the field and players and fans were looking at the situation as it went on.
The umpire was checking Rohit’s bat, and it got stuck in the measuring gauge. Rohit said, ‘Everything is fine just let me go and play. You don’t know anything 😂

Rohit Sharma looks slightly frustrated by the delay, apparently told the umpire : “Everything is fine, just let me go and play. You don’t know anything.” That comment probably came in the rush and adds an edge that is typically not even easy to get to.
The whole matter resolved without major fight; the match did end and Rohit was allowed to go on that night. Rohit says the bat is probably a good example if the rules didn’t apply or it could just be that the bat was placed in the gauge.
The story attracted attention on social media but the bat did fall short to its size limit, and fan clubs are divided as to whether the bat truly crossed size restrictions or if it was just an awkward moment during the inspection stage. Rohit has been defended at least to say that what happened was a “little mistake”, whereas others have questioned enforcement of rules too.
For cricket, equipment checking is one of the core principles of fairness no player is given an unfair advantage. But moments like these do expose the fact that emotion and pressure cause spontaneous reactions and we really do have to try hard in such scenarios.
Rohit Sharma, with calm cool and leadership traits, quickly moved past his bad play and picked more significance in what he did and it only confirms the way in which he works as one of the best in world cricket.
