The Gicchi Gili Gili Takeover

As Bigg Boss Kannada 12 draws to an end on Jan. 18, Colors Kannada is preparing to unveil its next reality show, Gicchi Gili Gili Juniors. Popular veterans of the show, including Tukali Santhu, Manasa, Shivu, and Raghu, entered the Bigg Boss house to promote the new season. Their purpose was simple: to entertain the finalists and give the audience a glimpse of the high-octane comedy that awaits them after the Bigg Boss finale.

Mimicry, Mayhem, “Ashwini My Ashwini”

The episode celebrated a fun mimicry session led by Tukali Santhu, the king of comedy. Santhu is known for his fantastic timing, and he started to imitate legendary Sandalwood actors. In that act, he took on the role of veteran actor Devaraj and challenged Daithya Raghu to deliver a classic “angry man” romantic dialogue.

Caught in the spirit of the game, Raghu gestured at his fellow finalist Ashwini Gowda and declared, "Ashwini… My Ashwini!" imitating Devaraj’s iconic style. The house erupted in cheers as Ashwini could not stop laughing and blushing at Daithya's unexpected romantic outburst.

The Hit Pair of the Season

It was part of a comedy skit, but fans were drawn in because Raghu and Ashwini were among the most respected and loved “pairs” of the season. Their relationship is built on mutual respect and shared strategy, although they often pull each other's legs.

Interestingly, this "pair" narrative evolved earlier in the season when Raghu’s son visited the house. At that time, Ashwini jokingly told the young boy, "When your father comes out of this house, he won't be coming alone; two people will be coming out together. Is that okay with you?" That playful banter has turned their camaraderie into a fan-favorite theme of the season.

What’s Next?

A much-needed jolt to the Top 6 finalists—Gilli Nata, Ashwini, Kavya, Rakshitha, Raghu, and Dhanush—who are currently fighting for the trophy, came with the entry of the Gicchi Gili Gili team.

With Bigg Boss wrapping up this Sunday, the weekend prime-time slot is now set for the little stars of Gicchi Gili Gili Juniors. If the promotion inside the house was any indication, the next season will be a blend of junior talent and senior mentorship as the Gicchi Gili Gili legacy continues.
