2026 Yamaha RayZR 125 Launched in India: New TFT Tech, Colours and Prices Explained

Yamaha has refreshed the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid range in India for 2026. New colours, updated graphics and more technology have been added in the sporty scooter to give it new life. It is a fresh look to the brand. The biggest update is the top Street Rally version, which now has a colour TFT display.

The new TFT screen brings useful connected features to the scooter. It supports turn by turn navigation that can help riders to follow the directions without constantly checking their phones. Yamaha has also added Answer Back functionality on the Street Rally TFT version.

But Yamaha has not changed the basic character of the RayZR 125. Here, the company has focused more on technology and styling than major mechanical changes.

From here on out, buyers will have more options for which features they want to buy and what features of the 2026 update.

New TFT Screen and Fresh Colours

The colour TFT display is the biggest attraction of the updated RayZR 125 range. But buyers should know that Yamaha does not offer this display on every variant.

The company has reserved the TFT screen for the higher Street Rally version. The regular Drum and Disc versions also have an LCD instrument display.

Yamaha offers the new Street Rally TFT version in Matte Titan and Matte Black. It carries an ex showroom Delhi price of Rs 1,00,440.

Some buyers like the Street Rally styling but don’t need the TFT screen and can choose the LCD version. Yamaha offers it in Ice Fluo Vermillion and Matte Black at Rs 93,930 ex showroom Delhi.

The RayZR Disc version is priced at Rs 87,680 and comes in Metallic Black, Dark Matte Blue and Ice Fluo Vermillion. The entry level Drum version is priced at Rs 79,880 and comes in Metallic Black. All these prices are ex showroom Delhi.

Yamaha also updated the graphics across the range. These changes don’t completely transform the scooter, but they do make the 2026 model a fresher one.

The RayZR has already got a sporty look with sharp body panels and a youthful look. The new colours and graphics are in line with that.

The TFT display is the biggest difference for riders who want more tech. Navigation may be useful on daily city rides, especially when going to an unfamiliar location.

The mobility of the scooter is also enhanced with smartphone connectivity, which can reduce the need to use the rider’s smartphone for connected features while riding.

Engine and Other Features Still Familiar

Yamaha has not made major mechanical changes to the 2026 RayZR 125. The scooter still uses the company’s 125cc Fi Hybrid engine and Smart Motor Generator technology.

When needed, the hybrid system provides power assistance. Yamaha also still has features like Silent Start and Stop and Start System. The latter can improve the efficiency of the scooter when idle by stopping the engine and restarting it when necessary.

The RayZR 125 still has 21 litres of storage under the seat. This means that riders can comfortably store everyday items and the scooter is practical for everyday use.

Another useful feature is the side stand engine cut off system. It prevents the rider from moving away with the side stand still down.

Yamaha has also kept smartphone connectivity on applicable versions. The combination of connected features, hybrid technology and a lightweight design keeps the RayZR focused on urban riders.

The 2026 update therefore does not attempt to reinvent the scooter. Instead, Yamaha has made all these features obvious to customers and use every day. The TFT display makes the Street Rally version look so modern with the new colour options giving you more choices.

The company is also distinguishing between different variants. Buyers who are mainly looking for an affordable 125cc scooter will opt for the regular versions. The ones wanting a sportier Street Rally look can go up the range. Riders who want the latest display and navigation technology can opt for the Street Rally TFT.

At Rs 1,00,440 ex showroom Delhi, the TFT-equipped Street Rally is at the top of the RayZR range. The additional technology also pushes it beyond Rs 1 lakh.

Whether the TFT screen is worth paying extra for will depend on the buyer. Riders with a habit of navigation may find this upgrade useful. But some people will prefer the cheaper versions if they just want a general scooter for the day-to-day.

Yamaha has also updated the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid alongside the RayZR, so it is clear that Yamaha wants to update its wider 125cc scooter range for 2026.

For the RayZR, the formula is simple. Yamaha has kept the familiar engine and sporty design but improved technology and fresh styling.

The new TFT screen may not make the scooter look any different at all but it gives the top Street Rally version a new look. With the new colours and connected features, it makes the 2026 RayZR 125 a more attractive option for individuals who want a sporty city scooter.
