While actor Gautham Karthik has been the main star of most anticipation for his new movie Mr. X, an exciting cinema experience and its attendant challenges all time, perhaps Gautham Karthik would have earned the most acclaim in all of the audiences and film-goers. Unlike other characters, who often fit hero archetypes in film, Gautham’s Mr. X role does much more to inhabit a grey space.
Strangely enough, it doesn’t have to be a negative character; it has a second-person or a more dimensional character which further develops the plot. An ambiguous representation to me an unusual twist which brings dimension to film and perspective an otherwise wouldn’t have got, through individual characters.

Multicolor representation of a single character is something known to popular storytellers, and Mr. X seems to be the one who takes advantage of this trend showing shades about a character. The depiction of Gautham Karthik as the hero with an apparently universal role that covers other features of individuality, conduct and point of view, is one of the most unusual aspects in this film.

If executed effectively, I think one single film centered solely around the character of Gautham Karthik would serve as a new storytelling route for the film, appealing to a broader cultural sensibility where audiences adore characters with depth and alternate dynamics in storytelling. Well, if Gautham Karthik is cast for this kind of role it may be his golden years. Known for devising alternative scripts, the actor continues to break the mold with pieces that upend the accepted.
Mr. X should just be able to let his versatility and easy-going approach to acting with complex characters shine forth and out. In the film, there’s excitement so high that fans are desperate to meet one unique character on film. Gautham Karthik’s addition in Mr. X a standalone film not to be confused with another has already generated plenty of buzz and a conversation.
